Going vintage for the engagement ring has long been a popular choice for those who wanted a slightly different edge for their symbol of commitment. Vintage here doesn’t necessarily means that the ring’s age must be older than you or your parent’s life! However, having a ring that seems to have been around for a century or so certainly carries a romantic notion around it.
What makes a vintage ring special can be because of several reasons. Their antique quality, rare gem, precise cut or style can set them apart from the typical modern ring. A ring from around the 19th century for example, though is dated not that far back, is precious because it was the symbol of age where women started to have more power, independence and wealth.
